1, Cutting is a type of carbide precision machining. Cutting is one of the commonly used ways of cutting carbide bars, plates and wires, and for grooving or cutting below 1mm, diamond ultra-thin cutting discs are commonly used for processing
2, Diamond resin matrix type cutting disc, in which the outer ring belt is the resin bond abrasive working layer, and the center part is made of high-strength and high-rigidity metal material, which is mostly used for grooving and cutting with medium and large depth of cut
3, Turning is the most common machining method for precision machining of cemented carbide. In the process of turning cemented carbide parts, the tool hardness must be higher than the workpiece hardness, so the tool materials for turning cemented carbide parts are mainly high-hardness and high-heat-resistant non-metallic adhesives CBN and PCD.
(1)For cemented carbide parts with hardness less than HRA90, choose BNK30 CBN cutter for large margin turning, and the tool will not be broken or burned. For cemented carbide parts with hardness more than HRA90, CDW025 PCD tools or resin-bonded diamond grinding wheels are generally used for grinding.
(2) Groove above R3 for precision parts machining of cemented carbide, for large machining allowances, it is generally rough with BNK30 material CBN cutters first, and then grinding with grinding wheels. For those with a small machining allowance, grinding can be carried out directly with a grinding wheel, or profiling with PCD tools.
